David Koob

David Koob has a well-deserved reputation as a zealous advocate for his clients.  David’s intellect, passion, preparation and persuasive analysis of the law have resulted in successful outcomes in a variety of cases. David has tried hundreds of cases, and has been recognized by judges and colleagues for his excellence in the courtroom.

David graduated from California Polytechnic Institute in 1995 and from the University of Minnesota Law School in 1998.  During his legal career, David has practiced in both civil and criminal litigation.  David joined Caplan & Tamburino Law Firm in 2010.  Immediately prior to joining Caplan & Tamburino Law Firm, David worked for the Minnesota Attorney General’s Office, where he represented the State of Minnesota in DWI/Implied Consent cases.

David is licensed in Minnesota and California State Courts, and Federal Court in Minnesota.  David is actively involved in the legal community, including frequently speaking at Continuing Legal Education seminars.  David is also an adjunct professor at William Mitchell College of Law.
